Long Island has been blessed with various accomplished and invigorating poets laureate who help spread the art and encourage it. For the first time, their work has been put together in an anthology made easy for the average poet/reader to appreciate.

Laurels features poetry by the various poets laureate of Suffolk and Nassau county, as well as a few thoughts from the laureates themselves.

Laurels seeks to fill the need of a concise and easy way for the Long Island poet and poetry fan to become familiar with the work of and the timeline of the local poets laureate.
