Hello poets and poetry fans!! 

Suffolk County, NY is a place beaming with poetry! And the poetry of the next generation is on the rise as well! 

Our current Suffolk County Teen Poet Laureate, Sarah Goodman, successfully coordinated a poetry contest for the teenage poets of Suffolk County. 

The contest was a massive success, winners and honorable mentions were selected and the talent was overwhelming.

In coordination with Bards President, and National Beat Poet Laureate for the United States Emeritus, James P. Wagner (Ishwa) the contest is going to be publishing an anthology from the results of the contest, and we know it is going to be amazing! 

Projects like this can always use a helping hand to make them as powerful as they can be and so we are requesting those who believe in the cause of supporting the poetry of the next generation to help sponsor this wonderful and meaningful collection!
